Life at YHC

What our team says about working here.

We're proud of the lawyers who started their careers with us. In their own words:

I am incredibly thankful for my time at YHC Lawyers. Shen and Loan provided comprehensive, sustained training across legal drafting, file management, client communication, phone etiquette and professional networking. During clerkships at other firms, supervisors noted it was clear I'd received strong training. It laid a solid foundation for whichever path my career takes.
Britta, Alumna '25
Working at YHC Lawyers gave me the knowledge and confidence to succeed as a paralegal through detailed, in-depth training. I managed files, drafted documents and interacted with clients. Shen and Loan truly care about their team - I always felt comfortable raising any issue. I grew professionally and personally, and could not recommend them enough.
Katie, Alumna '25
I am very grateful for the support, extensive training, mentorship and opportunities Shen and Loan provided over the years. YHC Lawyers played a significant role in my development as a legal professional, particularly the emphasis on legal drafting, which has bolstered my confidence and will make my transition into a graduate role much smoother.
Mackenzie, Alumna '23
Working as a paralegal here has been an invaluable start to my legal career. It let me develop a close relationship with the directors and gave me strong insight into my future responsibilities as a lawyer. Shen and Loan provide detailed training, hands-on client-facing experience, and genuine career guidance, all in a friendly, flexible environment.
Ariane, Alumna '23
Working at YHC Lawyers gave me the opportunity to have hands-on legal experience - client interactions and drafting legal documents. Shen and Loan take a real interest in the career development of their team, so the mentoring has been invaluable. I could not have asked for a better experience.
